Dj Luv’Lee not only has a pretty face with a bright smile that tends to light up the room, but also has an amazing ear for music. Spinning the hottest Pop, RnB, Hip Hop, Dance-Hall Reggae and Ol’ Skool, she simply plays what the crowd wants to hear!
As a child, Luv’Lee developed a good sense of music from her father whom often would play records in their basement while he worked out. Some of the songs included the likes of Hi-Five, R. Kelly & Public Announcement, Bobby Brown, Luther Vandross, Slick Rick, SOS Band, Mary j Bilge, Keith Sweat, Kut Klose and the list goes on and on…
In middle school Luv'Lee told her parents that she wanted to be a Dj, they weren’t supportive of it at all especially because Dj Luv'Lee was a competitive basketball player and had a promising future for college scholarships, she didn’t need any distractions.
Surprisingly, Luv’Lee decided not to pursue hoop dreams in college. At the University of Rhode Island, she meet Dj aSap whom she expressed her passion and interest for DJing. Nothing more was said and the two started working together almost everyday in aSap’s basement. Once Luv’Lee got her fundamentals down, she began opening up for Dj aSap at his gigs. Shortly after, clubs, promoters and others inquired about her and she started landing her own gigs. Up to present Dj Luv’lee has worked over 20 clubs within New England, a countless number of private parties, fashion shows, and other events. Luv’Lee aspires to be a radio Dj as well as a traveling Dj in the near future.
